The daughter of two classical musicians from Palo Alto, California, Claraty studied classical violin and piano from the age of 5. In 2012, she received a double BA in Film and Digital Media and Psychology from University of Santa Cruz, California. She then proceeded to attend Indigital School of Recording Arts to develop mastery in Ableton LIVE as a sound designer. She has been teaching total beginners to know how to master their own production in Ableton LIVE for the last 6+ years and has now made the course material accessible to anyone, anywhere, all the time!

Claraty tours the world offering her gifts as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, electronic music producer, DJ, sound engineer, experimental mixed media artist and conscious event producer. She is brilliant at integrating a range of genres, instruments, artistic specialties, and out-of-the-box ideas to create one of a kind sonic experiences and immersive performances. 

She spent over 10 years studying holistic health, practicing bodywork and participating in Peruvian, Mexican and Brazilian shamanic ceremonial practices, learning reverence for sound as a powerful transmission of the sacred. She sources her inspiration from a feeling of protectorship of the forests, the waters, the animals and the indigenous caretakers of the earth.
